We opened Fresh Organic Salon Solutions for all your Natural Beauty needs. To celebrate the concept we believe in, promote and live. We feel we have a responsibility to our family, friends, clients, community and the people we work with. We create less waste, recycle and use only the most natural / organic ingredients in order to guarantee the safest and healthiest beauty experience for our clients.

MY STORY

Maureen Toohey was born into the world of Beauty!
She was raised in an artistic and creative environment by her parents, who were both talented hair designers. Maureen learned a great deal watching her parents work, and by the age of twelve she was experimenting with hair and makeup on her brave friends. At age fourteen, she began working in a hair salon, where she fell in love with the fast –paced and exciting world of beauty and hair design.
Maureen’s extensive education began at Wilfred Academy in White Plains, NY. After graduation she served her apprenticeship with talented hair designers and colorist from Vidal Sassoon. She attended advanced seminars for color, cutting, permanent wave, and makeup artistry, and progressed to become a talented hair designed and colorist.Five years later, she opened Salon DaMaur in Somers, NY.
The Salon was very successful and had expanded several years later into Salon DaMaur Le Spa, a full service salon and day spa which offered beneficial treatments and state of the art hair design and coloring techniques. Education is very important to Maureen, and she continues to attend advanced seminars in top Manhattan salons, as well as participating in hair shows across the country.
She then went on to become an educator for the Wella Color Corporation, using her knowledge and skill to teach others to become better colorist and hair designers.
Always looking for better ways to serve her clients Maureen became an organic certified educator for Organic Salon Systems which is changing the beauty industry for the better.
